Happy New Year!
Welcome to my first attempt to create a blog about reading! This is totally new for me. I am not the most tech savvy person, but I am giving it a try. For several years I have been posting an annual list of my top book picks in several categories. I decided to take a leap and start blogging on an ongoing basis. I like to read books in a variety of genres, but I admit, I am not a fan of some. I don’t particularly care for science fiction, magical realism, or gothic horror. However, I have been known to enjoy a book here and there from all of these. The books I like may not appeal to you, but if you follow along with me, I hope to give others some ideas of what great books are out there just waiting to be opened!
About Me
I am an attorney, child advocate (Guardian ad Litem), wife, and mother. I have always been an avid reader. I typically read 125+ books a year, although I have only been formally keeping track since 2019. I love to travel and when I do, I love to check out local public libraries and independent bookstores. I am long time member of the Board of the Buckeye Book Fair, a non-profit with a mission to promote Ohio authors and Ohio literacy projects.
